Avant Garde Costume Gala

I, along with Easy 98.1 and Fashion Week San Diego attended San Diego’s Avant Garde Costume Gala this past weekend. Vanguard Culture hosted a fantastic evening of creativity, sensory pleasure and fashion in the heart of Balboa Park at the Mingei International Museum.
The fun kicked off at Salon on 30th, near Southpark in San Diego. The salon’s decor reflects the trendy style and cuts that were taking place through out the room. Beauty Blogger, Maria Somo worked her magic and expertise on all things “Make-up, hair and fashion” before the Gala. For tips, products and more check out her Instagram!
Finally, I had the pleasure of wearing a gorgeous gown by NApostol Couture, a 2015 Fashion Week San Diego designer! Accompanying the dress was a signature headpiece fascinator by couture hair designer, What A Betty.
