La Costa Film Festival, Periscope & Honors

Hundreds joined together on the beautiful coast of Carlsbad at the well-known Hollywood get-away location, the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, to celebrate and show appreciation for the art of filmmaking at the 2015 La Costa Film Festival. There to capture many exciting moments was 656 Photography.
A highlight of the night was interviewing film producer, Cash Warren (above), who served on ‘The Reel Pitch’ panel for the festival’s live version of ‘Shark Tank’ for filmmakers.
Before the festival’s awards event, I had the opportunity to speak with one of the very special honorees of the night actor, John C. McGinley, who received the 2015 Legacy Award.
The red carpet was not just the hot spot for live interviews with guests, some of which I shared on Periscope, but the prime location for some selfie sessions.
Cindy from The Pulse SD (above) and I were selfie ready! From groundbreaking films to noteworthy guests the festival was an unforgettable night for film and for the oh so classy San Diego.
